  19. yet folks more local don't have the same success.  Perhaps you could share
  20. your platform / modem initialisation / etc info with the unlucky rest of us.

  27. I've tried at *all* hours of the day and night, and the line has almost 
  28. *never* been busy:  hardly an indication of congestion, I think, but 
  29. thanks for all your input.  Hope this all gets cleared up soon.
